Western POS Solutions was founded in 2008 with the lofty goal to completely change the way that "old school" point of sale companies were doing business. Western Solutions' founders, had over 30 years of combined industry experience working directly within the retail, restaurant, and payment processing industries. Prior to forming the company, our founding members discovered that there was a large underserved market for affordable integrated POS systems. Most, if not all of the retail and restaurant establishments that we encountered were paying extremely high prices for their POS hardware and software, only to be further price gouged by exorbitant dealer service contracts and long-term equipment leases. To make matters worse, most of these merchants were getting substandard service for their money, if any at all. Since our founding day, Western Solutions has had incredible success in our local Southern California market. We credit our success to our updated and innovative approach to the point of sale business. Since opening our doors in 2008, we have brought to market our own software as a service program and our own free placement of commercial grade Samsung Sam4s electronic cash registers to our customers. These two programs have completely eliminated the need for our customers to contend with the typical high upfront cost when purchasing their much needed POS hardware and software. Our innovative approach to these programs completely eliminates the need for "traditional," expensive ongoing service contracts. This has been a win/win situation for Western Solutions and the customers we serve. Our latest innovations are starting to bear fruit as we look into a future where inexpensive tablet devices, such as Apple iPad's and Android OS tablets will overtake the traditional cash register and point of sale system. We are responding in a timely fashion and are already installing systems that are either 100% tablet based, or expanding on our traditional PC based systems by adding Tablets and handheld devices to the existing systems. We are moving into exciting technological times and one thing is for certain, Western Solutions will continue to head the pack and be a champion of change in the next generation of business point of sale technologies.
