Aztec POS software is Zonal's fourth generation POS system. It can control all your outlets from one place - right down to POS layouts, products, floor plans, table layouts and chairs. All terminal screens are designed on a range of themes that are designed at the corporate office and can be sent instantly to appropriate sites as part of a routine automatic process.

- Large Touchscreen
- Touchscreen terminals are measurably easier to use and staff training time is reduced significantly. The impact of staff turnover is lessened as the average time to train a staff member from new start to effective bar person is 25 minutes. If they need a refresher, there is no need to trouble a busy manager or senior barperson as the terminal has both a Training Mode and a comprehensive POS Online Help function that provides the answer in seconds.
- Graphical Table Layout
- The speed and accuracy of your service delivery is greatly enhanced by the graphical table plan feature that can be accessed quickly and easily on any Zonal terminal within the site. Large table-shaped graphics make for quick and accurate recognition of all table numbers and their positions in the site.
- Browser-based Features
- Sales and payment reports, video streaming (CBT, advertising) and online help are now displayed via an Apache interface to provide the user with more information, allow them to spend more time in front of clients and reduce training costs.
- Training Mode
- Employee-based training mode (appropriate to their login) allows flexible training to be carried out at the terminal without interfering with any of your commercial data.
- Integrated EFT
- No need to leave the terminal to swipe the card in a separate device or get involved with double-keying that can introduce errors. With Aztec, it is all covered by the terminal (standard or handheld) and automatically delivered to yourprocessor and bank/clearing .
- Round-follow-me
- Customer orders follow the staff with the Zonal excisive built in Dallas key. Orders can be moved from the bar to the restaurant with ease.
- Intelligent Promotions
- Extensive, powerful promotions that think for the staff. No user intervention required to ensure that clients get the best deal and staff need not waste additional time to ensure a better customer sales experience.
- Portions
- Flexible portion design and easy selection at the terminal for faster service and elimination of cumulative errors. Portions also reduce the stock more accurately.
- Security
- Any key or panel can be configured to be visible to only certain types of staff. For example, Champagne or vintage wines may only be sold by a senior member of staff.
- Local Specials
- Managers now have control over centrally defined themes and menus to name their daily specials appropriately. Site panels can also be created to define other local promotions.
- Cash Drawer Assignment
- Round-follow-me is still operational but managers can specify that certain staff or groups of staff must use specified cash drawers.
- Per-seat Ordering
- Orders are taken per guest, not per table, enabling waiting staff to get the right meal back to each customer, without delay or embarrassment.
- Product Search
- Fast product searching allows new users to find anything quickly and lets your regular staff find the most elusive of products.
- Messaging
- Add messages to print directly to the kitchen printer using the inbuilt QWERTY touchscreen keyboard.
- Real-time Reporting
- Comprehensive real-time reporting of sales and payments including line checks.
